Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how ID 784 ("the App", "we", "us") handles your information. Your privacy is fundamental to how the App is designed.

1. Data You Store in the App

All documents, profiles, photos, numbers and notes you enter into ID 784 are stored locally on your device and, if enabled by you, in your personal iCloud account using Apple's CloudKit framework. We do not operate any server that receives, processes or stores your document data.

2. iCloud Sync

If you enable iCloud, your data syncs across your own Apple devices through Apple's iCloud service, governed by Apple's terms and privacy policy. We do not have access to the contents of your iCloud container.

3. iCloud Profile Sharing

When you choose to share a profile with another person via the in-app sharing feature, the shared content is transferred between participants through Apple's CloudKit sharing infrastructure. You decide who has access, what level of access (view-only or edit), and you can revoke access at any time.

4. Face ID / Biometric Authentication

If you enable Face ID, Touch ID or device passcode protection, authentication is handled entirely by your device's secure enclave. Biometric data never leaves your device and is not accessible to the App.

5. Advertising

The free version of ID 784 displays advertisements. Ads are served by reputable mobile ad networks (such as Google AdMob and/or Apple's ad services). These networks may collect limited technical information (such as a device advertising identifier, IP address, approximate location and ad interaction events) to deliver and measure ads. They do not receive any of the documents, profiles, photos or personal data you store inside the App.

You can limit ad personalization through your device settings (iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security → Apple Advertising / Tracking). Purchasing the optional "Remove Ads" in-app purchase disables ad-network requests entirely.

6. Analytics

The App does not include third-party behavioural analytics or tracking SDKs beyond what is described in the Advertising section above. Apple may provide aggregate, anonymous crash and usage statistics if you have opted into "Share with App Developers" in iOS settings.

7. Purchases

Optional in-app purchases (including "Remove Ads") are processed by Apple via the App Store. We receive only the receipt information required to validate your purchase; we do not see your payment details.

8. Sharing Documents

When you export or share a document (as image, PDF or via the Share Basket), the destination (Mail, Messages, AirDrop or any other app) is chosen by you. We do not control or have visibility into how those receiving apps handle the data.

9. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected on this page along with an updated "Last updated" date.
