Prkn is an iPhone app for paying parking across the UAE: Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Sharjah and Ajman, with parking timers, reminders before your ticket ends, saved plates and monthly fuel prices.

To use the app, your device needs an active UAE SIM card with enough balance from e& (Etisalat) or du.
How it works
The app uses the SMS system to pay for parking. Each emirate has its own number and message format, and Prkn prepares it so you do not memorize anything.

How do I pay for parking with Prkn?
Pick the emirate, choose a saved plate, set how long you are staying, and confirm. Prkn sends the request the same way the official service expects it.
Does Prkn remind me before my parking ends?
Yes. Prkn shows the time left on your ticket and sends a notification before it expires, so you can extend it or move the car.
Does Prkn show fuel prices?
Yes. The app carries the UAE monthly petrol and diesel prices with charts, and the same prices are published on the fuel prices page on this site.
How much does Prkn cost?
Prkn is free to download from the App Store. Parking fees themselves are charged by the parking authority, not by the app.
